Welcome to the Cherokee Indian Association of America. Our association is for anyone of Cherokee Indian ancestry. Our members are enrolled members of the 3 federally recognized Cherokee tribes and non-enrolled American citizens, and International people of Cherokee Indian ancestry. We are not a Tribe and we do not have a Chief. We are a non-polital Cherokee association.

The ancient Cherokee originate from Kituwah, in the North Carolina mountains. From there they grew to be the largest tribe east of the Mississippi River. We are their descendants. We have organized to promote and preserve the history, culture, traditions and heritage of the Cherokee.
